Jet Pilot

A riff on the Test Pilot, the Jet Pilot originated at the Beverly Hills Luau Restaurant in 1958. The combination of rums and fruit juices make this a potent friend that goes down easy… maybe a little too easy.

 

JET PILOT

1 oz DARK RUM

3/4 oz OVERPROOFED AGED RUM

3/4 oz GOLD RUM

1/2 oz GRAPEFRUIT JUICE

1/2 oz LIME JUICE

1/2 oz FALERNUM

1/2 oz CINNAMON SYRUP

1 dash ABSINTHE

1 dash ANGOSTURA BITTERS

Shake ingredients with 1/2 cup of crushed ice until the shaker gets frosty. Pour into a tiki mug or collins glass and top with more crushed ice. Go wild with your garnish.
